ANGELINA BONG
NGELINA BONG is a visual artist and poet. She seeks the sacred in the ordinary and grandeur, celebrating diversity beyond borders. These contemplative encounters are expressed in her art. She focuses largely on acrylic, mixed media and black and white illustrations. Engaging with community where ever she goes, she conducts art workshops online and on site in Malaysia and abroad.
AHMAD SYAFIIE BIN HASBI
orn and raised in Sarawak, Ahmad Syafiie discovered a passion for electronic art especially in motion design through his studies at University Malaysia Sarawak. His artwork focuses primarily on landscapes, portraits , and other interesting subjects in both 2D and 3D art.
AWANGKO' HAMDAN AWANG ARSHAD
wangko' Hamdan Pgn Arshad is currently a senior lecturer at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. He studied at UiTM, Shah Alam, Selangor and obtained his MA in Visual Arts from the Australian National University, Canberra, Australia in 2002. Aside from teaching, Awangko' enjoys engaging research particularly relating to cultural objects and local history of Sarawak. He specializes in the realm of fine arts and had widely exhibited his contemporary sculptural works both locally and abroad.
nyshya Anak Jusam Born on 24 September 1993 Final year student of a master’s degree in Fine Arts and graduated with a bachelor’s degree (Fine Arts) in 2016 at UNIMAS. Young artists who are still looking for opportunities in art exhibitions. Has expertise in the production of ceramic and mixed media sculpture art.

avid Chew is one of the rare Abstract Expressionism artists in Sarawak. He was trained in Impressionism style since young and developed into Abstract Expressionism in 2000. His Action Painting technique was improvised with other techniques, and developed into his own unique style. He believes in creating artworks that engage with viewers which bring awareness of core values in life.

orn and raised at Miri, Doris Maying is an art practitioner, researcher, and a lecturer, who’s currently teaching Fine Arts at the Faculty of Applied & Creative Arts, UNIMAS. Her expertise is in fine art ceramics, three-dimensional or sculpture, including mixed media. Her arts primarily inspired from the local content including cultures, and her research experiences.
GERALD GOH
erald comes from a family of potters and had ventured into portrait painting and semi-abstract impressionism in oils and acrylics on canvases. His art pieces have always reflected Sarawak's diversity and colours. His mission in life is to present Sarawak on an international platform, be it his clay sculptures, oil or acrylic on canvases or any other art-related ventures.
KENDY MITOT
endy Mitot research areas as an educator, cultural researcher, visual arts practitioner, and writer include topics related to the traditional arts and culture of the Bidayuh people, in Bau, Sarawak. He used contemporary art in experimenting with various mediums to distribute and re-contextualize it in order to pass down such knowledge and values to transmit narrative storytelling, bringing communities together and hopes keeping these traditions alive. At Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Selangor, Malaysia, he received his Bachelor of Fine Art (Hons), Master of Art & Design (Art History & Cultural Management), and Doctor of Philosophy in Art & Design.

Furthered his studies in the field of teaching (Visual Arts Studies) at the Raja Melewar Teachers College Seremban Negeri Sembilan 2002. Worked as an Art Education teacher. Involved in the field of art since 1993. Established Rejang Fine Artist Group (RFAG) in Bintangor in 2012 together with two other artists, Aliza Anthony Abet and Augustine Mapang. Member of Sarawak Artists Society (SAS) and Painters Association and Visual Arts Miri (PPSVM).

eopold Garett Anak Jawan Born on 28 April 1993 in Kuching Sarawak Completed a Bachelor Degree of Applied Arts with Honours (Fine Arts) at University Malaysia Sarawak in 2016 A young artist who is still active and often participates in several exhibitions Use many mediums in producing artworks such as ceramics, textiles, sketches and also mix media. Subjects that often highlighted in his artwork is related to his life environment. Most of his artwork was inspired from the element of culture such as imitating the ritual and mystical values in sureal figures and humor which in abstract.
For him a process is the process in finding out something through his basic idea has been sketched on other media, but in other format or another media which make it possible for him to create new shapes which are close to his idea or even a really different new idea. Has participated various exhibitions. Some of them is exhibition of "Arthuasism" in Yogyarkata, "Sketsa Merah Putih" in Yogyarkata and Art Bazar in Kuala Lumpur by Bank Negara Malaysia.
LILLY METOM
illy Metom is a self-taught artist. Her favourite medium is oil. She has been actively painting and joining group art exhibitions since 2016. Her painting themes revolve around cultural, flora, and fauna images. Currently, she is a senior lecturer teaching English at Universiti Teknologi MARA, Sarawak Campus.

ohamad Faizuan Bin Mat is a lecturer in the Fine Arts Programme, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak. His area of expertise include fine arts, visual arts, curatorial, contemporary arts and community art.

orn 17/2/1960 to bidayuh parents at Kampong Bengoh.Certified teacher,art education specialist and M.Ed in Instructional Technology.Has been actively painting since 1986 and participated in numerous local and international art exhibitions and artists camp.Highly versatile with both realistic and abstract artwork.Resident artist at Galleria since 2005 untill 2019 and currently owner of Manook Art Gallery.
NARONG ANAK DAUN
arong Daun is a self-taught artist, renowed for her vivid batik silk paintings, which she has been painstakingly producing for more than 20 years. Her work is inspired by both nature and culture of Borneo. Her unique style has made her one of Sarawak’s most prolific artist. Her works have been exhibited in numerous galleries and homes in Malaysia, Australia, United Kingdom, Hawaii amongst many others.

am an undergraduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Applied Art with Honour in Fine Art and majoring in ceramic at University Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS). I am interested in doodle art because it can help me relax, focus, grasp new concepts, retain information, think creatively, improve my memory, and achieve better health.
SYLVESTER WIELDING ANAK JUSSEM
ylvester Wielding ak. Jussem is a Bidayuh artist born in 15 May, 1960 Bau, Sarawak. Areas of specialization are drawing illustration, painting and has special interest in research which relates to ethnic arts and culture. Through his visual research travels, he is exposed to many styles, techniques and cultural influences, which later influenced the development of his own dialogue and style of painting almost semi- abstract in nature. Currently lectures at the Faculty of Applied and Creative Arts, Design Technology Program, Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (UNIMAS) since 2000 and actively participating in art exhibitions both local and abroad
